Ingredients:
Tart:
Maida – 1/2 cup
cold butter – 2 tablespoons
Kulfi:
Malai Ice Cream 3/4 Cup
Mawa 1/4 cup
Kesar – 1 pinch
Pista – 1 teaspoon
Elaichi powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Method:
Bring Malai ice cream to a boil and add in the mawa.
Let the mixture come to one boil and add the flavour ingredients.
Turn the flame off, cool it down and keep in the freezer in an airtight box.
To make the Tarts rub the butter and flour together. Knead a semi-stiff dough using cold water.
Let the dough rest covered for 20 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
Roll the dough to 4 mm thickness and cut circles for tarts.
Place them in tart moulds.
Let the tartlet bake in each cavity for about 15 minutes.
Cool them down and keep in an airtight container.
Add a scoop full of kulfi in each tartlet and serve garnished with nuts of choice.
